Introduction:
- Do you remember my Name?
- Do you remember Mimo?
- Mimo is not here any mor, he flew home...
- But he left his telephone number (EVFI WOT ENEVS XIS ORUF NOE EINN TEGHI)

- Can you read that? (No: Let's write the numbers first...)

- My phone number is 82224035
- CC: What's your phone number? (Write on the board)
- Now we're going to make a telephone out of two cups (drill) and one string (drill)
- Take a pencil to get a hole
- and put the string through it
- make at each end a knot

- How to use the phone:
- Task: Work in groups of four (one phone)
Ask your friends: "What's your phone number" and write down the answer "My phone number is..."
- Technique: The string has to be straight
don't touch the string
be careful with the cups

- Follow-up: Tell me the phone numbers of your friends (write on the board)
- Now here is my long-distance-phone (extra long string!)

- Choose a student: Choose a number from the blackboard -> dialing another student -> short phone call (Hello. How are you?)

Lessonstructure:
Introduction:
- My Name is Elisa. I'm from Germany. (drawing on the board)
- My hobbies are ....
- Ask me questions
- When I've got freetime, I like to have a party (Topic: on the board)
- What do you need for a party? (categories: snacks, drinks, fruits)
- Ask a student to draw a word, given by me, on the board (e.g.: cola, apple, cake...)
- Divide class in teams (who guesses the word first, gets a point)
- Target vocab: plums, noodles, ice cream, pear, chocolate, banana, apple, chewing gum, bread, orange, cake, hot dog, juice, cola)
- Put words in categories
- Elicit more words
- Game: Backs to the board
- Each team chooses 1 student, to stand with the back to the board. No one but the single student is allowed to speak. The team has to mime the words. The Student standing with the back to the board, who shouts the correct word first, wins a point for his team.
- If necessary: revise new learnt vocab/ difficult words/ pronounciation

Getting to know Mimo:
- He has got 1 eye; 2 hands; 2 feet; 3 mouths; 4 single hairs; 5 fingers on one hand; 6 toes on each foot; 7 noses; 10 fingers; 12 toes
- He is 8 years old
- He has got 9 sisters and 11 brothers

Mimo loves numbers:
e.g.: eye + mouths = 4; noses - hands = 5; ...

Mimo knows some games, too:
- write numbers on the backs in teams (1 team= all students sitting behind/in front of the first writer)

- Bingo
